Our office will be open M W TH 8 am – 8 pm; Tues 8am – 4 pm; Friday 8 am – 7 pm and sat 8-noon. We see patients by appointment so, please call our office to schedule an appointment for your pet’s visit with us. Animal Haven Veterinary Center has appointments at our stationary facility, as well as house calls available.
In the event that you have an emergency with your pet during regular office hours, you should always try to contact our office first as we will likely be able to accommodate you to see your pet and may be able to provide some assistance to you over the phone to help you and your pet immediately and during transport to our office.
We will always try to make appointments with a specific doctor if you prefer. There may be times when that doctor’s schedule is full or not in the office on the day you prefer. You may choose to wait for an appointment with your preferred doctor or you are free to see another doctor. You will need to let the receptionist know if you request an appointment with a specific doctor.
Please always have your pet confined with either a leash or carrier. In order to maximize your visit with us during any home visit, please have your pets ready by having them leashed, crated, or confined to a bathroom where they will not be able to hide behind or under furniture. It is much less stressful for your pet if we can complete the house call without having to chase after them.
If you cannot keep a scheduled appointment, please notify us 24 hours in advance if at all possible. This will allow us to schedule another patient that needs our care. We realize that unexpected circumstances in your life can come up and 24-hour notice is not always possible. Please still give us a call to let us know you won’t be able to keep your appointment so that we can see a last-minute emergency or sick patient.
Animal Haven Veterinary Center Policies:
Payments can be made using cash, or credit card (Visa, Master Card or Care Credit). Payment is expected upon completion of services as we have a no-billing policy. Estimates are issued gladly upon request.
Should your pet require prescription foods or a prescription refill, please call us when you are running low in supply so that we can be sure to have it in-stock for you and get it prepared for delivery or pick-up.
